Devapriya has been teaching since 1992. She has completed a five year teacher training course at the Dharma Yoga Centre which is under the spiritual guidance of Swami Dharmananda Saraswati. She has also worked with spiritual healer/counsellor Margaret Sharland in the area of meditation/guided visualisation and healing. Her teaching is a combination of different influences, she likes to use the practices of yoga, guided visualisation and meditation not only to bring about healing and wholeness in the individual, but also to empower them to live a more fulfilled - and less stressful - life.

Devapriya has worked with adults, children, pregnant women , mothers and babies and the elderly.

Yoga/Meditation courses are run regularly on Tuesday evenings 7-8.30pm at Highbury Roundhouse - near Highbury 71 Ronalds Road N5 - Highbury and Islington Tube
